Who are the most helpful heroes(proffession) to use?
Okay so I've tried many different setups for filling the 3 hero spots, and I can't seem to find one that is too dominant. I've pretty much settled to using Koss as melee of course, Dunkoro as another monk, and either an MM or an SF or SH Nuker. What do you guys think? What do you guys like to use? Try to support your opinions and/or reasons.

I have to admit that quite often I run around with Sab's 3-necro hero package. But I also have a great time using the rit heroes. With one set up for damage and the other for healing, it can be great fun.

well, what proffesion are you?
But seriously, you can run around with Anything on 3 Necro heros. Doesnt have to be sabway. There ARE better ways then sabway. |

Highly situation dependent. Also, every hero, properly used, can be strategically powerful/helpful. The Sabway 3 Necro build does a lot of general things well though.

I use hero to counter poor Henchmen build. I always have 3 heroes but party build depends on the area. I select the 3 heroes that will work then try to pick henchmen to fill out the party (kind of pick the lesser of two evils)
I do seem to favor Neco, Monk, and Rits. |

It depends on which character I'm playing, who I'm playing with (if anyone), and where I'm at.
When I'm going strictly H/H with my Mesmer, I generally use the N/RT and MM from Sabway & Souske for general purpose use. I don't use the monk heroes for soloing because I'm satisfied with the Monk Henchies, especially when coupled with the N/Rt Hero. If I'm in an area where a MM isn't useful, I'll bring Jora along for some front-line support. If I'm going up against one of those high-powered, fast casting HM Ele Bosses, I like to bring Gwen along with some interrupting power. She does a much better job of shutting them things down that I ever could since her reaction time is so much faster than mine! |

What you should look to get when you're using heroes, is damage, and something that in general henchies can't do.
Henchies damage is really low as they don't have any really good bars, but heroes give you the opportunity to outdamage them and breeze through a zone with synergy. What I usually bring along is Curses and MM from Sabway as they give both great utility (enchantment removal, meat shield, blocking counter), and then either moar damage or more utility depending if I'm running utility (BHA) or damage (Barrage-Splinter). I leave the healing to henchies though sometimes I get a hero with manageable prots in places like Prophecies. Since heroes like to spam skills and suck at managing energy, you need to run professions with powerful energy management, or builds with it. Necros have this as their primary attribute, so do Paragons and Rangers, thus those three being the more useful. Eles do have some energy management, but in the form of long recharging enchantments that heroes won't cast on recharge, and even with a large energy pool, they tend to run out of energy with spam builds such as SF. This happens because when they're in the middle of the battle, they won't recast their attunements so they become useless. Monks also suck at proper monking, they only see the hp of the party like: +90% hp - doesn't needs heal. Less than 90% - needs heal. 10% hp - then they cast their powerheal and fail at it because target dies. With my warrior though, I like bringing the Orders guy, either as Necro or Derv, 'cause it boosts adrenaline like crazy. And then some N/Rt with Splinter Weapon, but since then he needs massive stuff dying, I bring a MM. |

I generally always bring 1 mesmer 1 monk and 1 mm. except for areas that mm's don't work well I bring an ele hero. I rarely deviate from this set up on any character.

When completed NF, 2 necro (sabway healer and MM) and then for warrior/paragon melonni(order), the rest mostly a SH nuker.
Not complete NF, MM 1 monk and nuker. |

midline > frontline > backline
so 3 midline, or 2 midline+1 frontline i'd never bring a hero monk, unless its 4man or hes runnin smiting |

My monk and my three heroes got my max KOABD title a LONG time ago, heres what I used:
All SF fire eles (E/Me) SF, glowing gaze, liquid flame, glyph of lesser, fire attunement, power drain , leech sig , and res sig on one ele I dropped leech sig for ward of melee and on another ele i brought ward vs elements when I teamed up with one of my pve farming buddies (almost always a monk) he would run the ele bar above on 2-3 chars , we used 2 on the tougher areas and brought a MM Melee characters that arent ursan in pve are pretty much useless compared to the aoe dmg of casters so your choice of Koss is horribad |

Melee heroes do indeed suck with their pathing issues, but bringing instead elemental damage is as bad for HM. |

1) MM Hero except in areas with no corpses
2) Heal Monk except in areas with teams of 6 or less, and I play the Monk 3) Mesmer with anti casting skills (Frustration, Migraine, etc.) 4) Interrupt Ranger - usually Broadhead Arrow, but sometimes Magebane 5) Fire Ele with Mind Blast - Rodgorts Invocation is all I need them to spam, Mind Blast lets them do it well 6) Air Ele with Blind - Cracked Armor and Weakness are also quite useful 7) SS Necro - without micro management, no Arcane Echo, so I'm not anxious to use a hero for SS Depends on what class I am playing, and what area I am working on. Those, however, are the ones I use most often. At times I use an Earth Ele as well, but find the heroes don't place wards where I want them. Only time I use melee heroes is when I have to (Jokanur Diggings and Melonni, etc.). |

It all depends n what do u want to acomplish, and or what areas u are in,so i can not say 2 monk heroes are better than 2 ele heroes because they do not compare

Sabway it is!!!
I play a monk and just started use the triple necro setup for my heroes. Pretty amazing in NM. I changed most of my skills to Domination Mesmer skills and Asura skills for attack support since I hardly have to do any healing... Go Sabway all the way!!!
